- Industrial spacesWarehouses and factories usually choose greys, with traffic yellow (RAL 1023) for walkways and safety lines.
- Light and dark tonesLight colours brighten a space. On dark, glossy floors dust and fine scratches can be more visible.

What affects the price
The ranges in the list are averages. Even with the same system, two areas can be priced differently; the factors below decide where in the range your price will fall.
Area size
Total square metres determine the amount of material and labour time. On small areas, fixed costs make up a larger share per m².
Current floor condition
Cracks, voids, moisture, oil or old coatings may require extra preparation and repair.
Surface preparation
The scope of grinding, old coating removal, dust removal and repair directly affects the cost.
System and thickness
Epoxy paint, orange-peel, self-leveling, marble-effect, flake epoxy and microcement differ in material and labour.
Colours, lines and marking
Walkways, safety stripes, parking and charging bay lines, symbols and lettering are added separately.
Location, access and schedule
The province, whether the space is in use, phased work, or weekend/night work all affect planning.
Comparing quotes
When comparing quotes, make sure they cover the same system, thickness, surface preparation and number of coats. Quotes that list preparation, primer, intermediate and top coats and line marking separately are easier to compare.
